The Supreme Court is looking at the legitimacy of gender surgery for minors and will rule if the State of Tennessee can bar doctors treat minors for gender dysphoria with hormone blockers and organ remove/modification surgery based in the child's desire to change their gender.
The bigger picture is the government deciding whether there really are just two genders and is it considered a right to be able to choose one's gender identity on legal grounds if you are a minor.
